MIR-2025 Plated Strip Blank Test System

Automated base plated strip blank test system with (optional) vision assisted base plating carrier identification and position control. The MIR2025 is designed to provide a test and measurement solution that screens finish plated blanks BEFORE mounting. Taking advantage of the regular pattern of rectangular parts, the MIR2025 can quickly check crystal blanks prior to mounting to reduce overall process costs. Based on the MIR2020 Base Plated Blank Measurement System, the MIR2025 utilized some of the same technology with some simplifications for strip type parts.

Basic Concept:
The MIR2025 utilizes dual three axis pick and place system with a coaxial measurement head for fast measurement of crystals. The system overlaps the measurement, initial pick and place (prior to measurement) and final pick and place (after measurement) to allow fast operation

A variety of network analyzers can be used trading off speed vs very high frequency operation. Some of the key features of the system are:

* Operating Range: up to 1.3 GHz (depending on analyzer option)
* Frequency accuracy to 2 PPM
* Resistance accuracy typically 5%
* Capacity to 2500 pcs/hr with F and CI
